Growth Capital Forum 2026 – the seventh in the annual series – will again focus on the wide range of opportunities in growth-stage private equity and late-stage venture capital, the most active area of private capital investing.

Themes for this year’s event will include the growing significance of artificial intelligence (AI), the importance of embedding cybersecurity in investment strategies, and the explosive growth of defence sector investment opportunities.

Speakers will include investors, investee company executives and sector advisers.

Speakers confirmed so far include Adam Barty of AI consultancy Revium; Steve Baxter, of defence sector investment firm Beaten Zone Ventures, Jacob Van der Wiel of global private capital firm EQT and Charlie Rose of branding agency Principals.

The full-day event will be structured to promote networking including a buffet lunch, morning and afternoon coffee breaks and after-event drinks.

Growth Capital Forum 2026 will be held at the Ivy Ballroom, George Street, Sydney, Monday 2 March starting 9am.
