Newcastle-based Melt Ventures is fundraising for a tax-advantaged Early-Stage Venture Capital Limited Partnership (ESVCLP) fund which will invest in advanced manufacturing ventures.

Melt Ventures is an early-stage investment firm set up by Trent Bagnall, founder of accelerator business Slingshot, and Steph Hinds, founder of accounting services business Growthwise.

Melt Ventures Australian Advanced Manufacturing Seed Fund will seek to invest in high-quality hardware and advanced manufacturing-focused Australian start-ups in the sectors of clean technology, internet of things, and advanced manufacturing.
