Elaine Stead, the former head of venture capital for now defunct Blue Sky Funds, has joined CSIRO-backed Main Sequence Ventures as an investment principal.
Stead, who has worked in the biotechnology sector, will focus on identifying healthcare sector opportunities for the manager which has a focus on deep tech.
Since the demise of Blue Sky, Stead has been involved in the establishment of two technology investment vehicles, Human VC and Tribe Global Ventures.
