Sydney-based late-stage accelerator Impact Tech Ventures and early-stage venture capital firm Investible have joined forces to help drive international growth of emerging tech scale-ups.

The partnership will see collaboration across a range of growth programs and engagement initiatives including this year’s 12th annual Australian Technologies Competition which is run by Impact Tech Ventures.

Executive chair Patrick Mooney, said: “Together with Investible, our goal is to create, support and accelerate Australian deep-tech scale-ups to become international companies, leveraging our combined pool of stakeholders, resources and capital.”

Investible has offices in Sydney and Singapore, and backs South-East Asian as well as Australian early-stage tech companies. The firm recently launched a new project, Greenhouse, a climate-tech ecosystem intended to accelerate collaboration, adoption and impact of climate technologies. Investible plans to leverage the expertise of Impact Tech Ventures for the later stages of this project.

Investible co-founder and Greenhouse chief executive Creel Price said the project would bring together a diverse group of investors, experts, partners and advisers to provide climate tech businesses with capital, talent, development program and community to grow to full potential.

Aspiring scale-ups with technologies that meet at least one of 12 award categories have until 4 July to enter this year’s Australian Technologies Competition. The competition is supported by the federal government, Investment NSW and private enterprise.
